Quality & Testing: How Our Research Peptides Are Verified
Sterling Peptides supplies high-purity research peptides for laboratory and analytical work only. Batches are checked against supplier specifications and independently tested for purity by Janoshik using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography).
For in vitro research use only. Not for human or veterinary consumption, or for medical, diagnostic or therapeutic use.
Our quality commitment
Sterling Peptides Ltd focuses on delivering high-purity research peptides exclusively for laboratory and analytical applications. We work with established manufacturing partners and rely on independent purity testing, so researchers know the purity of the material they work with.
All orders are placed through our single official store, sterling-research.com, so stock, batches and testing are managed in one place.
How purity is tested
Our batches are tested for purity using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), the standard method for measuring peptide purity.
- SeparationHPLC separates a sample into its individual components as it passes through a chromatography column.
- MeasurementEach component is detected and measured, showing how much of the sample is the target peptide and how much is impurities.
- Purity resultThe result is expressed as a purity percentage for the batch tested.
How a batch is checked
- SourcingMaterials come from specialised manufacturing partners working under controlled laboratory conditions.
- Specification checkIncoming batches are verified against supplier specifications. Batches with significant discrepancies are rejected.
- Independent testingBatches are sent to Janoshik, an independent third-party laboratory, for purity analysis.
- Storage and dispatchApproved material is packed and stored with appropriate handling for stability before it is released for sale.
Independent verification
Batches are tested by Janoshik, an independent analytical laboratory widely used for peptide analysis. Third-party testing gives an outside check on purity, separate from the manufacturer’s own data. Batch testing information can be requested by contacting us.
Testing of blend products
Multi-compound formulations, such as GLOW and KLOW, are tested differently from single compounds. Because separating several peptides in one sample is more complex, purity figures for blends may reflect the manufacturer’s data on the individual raw materials rather than an analysis of the finished blend.
Batch consistency and manufacturing
- Controlled productionPartners manufacture under controlled laboratory conditions.
- Consistent standardsThe same quality checks apply to every batch we stock.
- Stability-focused packagingLyophilised peptides are packed and handled to protect stability in storage.
What testing does and doesn’t tell you
Our testing measures purity by HPLC. It does not cover every possible analytical parameter, and test results describe the material, not its suitability for any particular use. Our products are sold strictly for laboratory research and analytical purposes.

Frequently asked questions
Who tests Sterling Peptides products?
Batches are independently tested for purity by Janoshik, a third-party analytical laboratory, in addition to our own checks against supplier specifications.
What does HPLC measure?
HPLC measures purity by separating the target peptide from impurities and expressing the result as a purity percentage.
Are blend products tested the same way?
Not exactly. Because blends contain several peptides, their purity figures may reflect manufacturer data on the individual raw materials.
Can I request batch testing information?
Yes. Email contact@sterling-research.com with the product and batch and we will share the testing information available for it.
Where can I buy Sterling Peptides products?
Only through our official store at sterling-research.com. Please read our notice on imitator websites before ordering elsewhere.
